7/7/2003 Day 3: Botak Hill - Summit - Gunung Gedung |
| 0838 | Very cold and windy in the morning, but we still needed to put on the wet clothing, and everybody was shivering. Todays plan was to trek from Botak Hill to summit and then down to Gedung. Estimated time needed was 6 hours. |
| 0900 | Started off from Botak Hill for the summit. |
| 0945 | Reached summit at 2187m. Yahoo! Everybody was busy on photo taking. |
| 1020 | Set off from summit after all the photo taking. Next destination Gedung. Decided to go Gedung instead of Padang for next morning's sunrise at Gedung. |
| 1240 | Stopped for lunch at T-junction of summit, Padang and Gedung. |
| 1310 | Left lunch point for Gedung. |
| 1407 | Reached G. Gedung, height 1830m at campsite. Before the campsite, G. Gedung summit we passed by was 2085m according to my altimeter. |
